…DAY ONE, I need to do 31 days of this!! Help!!
I decided to sign up to give up chocolate for the month of March to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. It’s a great cause so if I can even raise £10 towards helping it I’ll be pleased I did something. I thought that just cutting out chocolate would be relatively easy.. after all I can still have (chocolate free) cake, crisps, all sorts of goodies.
But it’s not chocolate!!
I’ve already had a couple of sponsers so I definitely can’t bail out.. I would feel too guilty anyway! Plus I am intrigued to put my willpower to the test. I’ve started thinking about what my first chocolate bar of choice will be, on the 1st of April. The current favourite is a Galaxy Ripple… I love that crumbly stick of heaven *drool* I have a definite chocolate problem. To make things worse as I was rummaging in the fridge for a chocolate free snack I found half a Galaxy bar hidden behind some condiments. The temptation to just finish the bar was so strong, I dragged myself away reluctantly!
Anyway I have had 3 packets of crisps today to make up for the lack of chocolate.. so the hope that this is going to help me lose weight is already pretty much down the pan. Whoops! But hey- a whole day so far without chocolate, I am still proud!
