I always describe Lily as being a “active girl” what I really mean is she is a little whirlwind! She is constantly on the go and loves nothing more than getting out and about. I also love it as it burns off some of her energy, meaning it’s more likely she will sleep better!
One thing we always enjoy but don’t do enough of is going to children’s clubs, or joining in with organised activities. As Lily isn’t at nursery yet I’m keen for her to start doing this more and develop her social skills. So that’s where the great Club Hub UK comes in. You can either look them up on their website, or their app. They also have social media accounts. I’ll give all the details at the end of the post.
Club Hub UK was created by Tessa Robinson, when she found that she struggled to promote and advertise her drama group. The service they provide for FREE is the ability to search for and locate activities and clubs for ages 0 to 18 in your area. There is a handy search engine where you simply enter your location, the childs age, and if you want you can narrow it down to what type of activity you are looking for, for example swimming.
The site then produces a list of activities in the area, along with how much it costs and what type of activity it is.
I think this is a fantastic idea, especially for parents who are new to an area, and may not be so aware of what is about. I will certainly be using the website and trying to get out to some clubs and activities with Lily a bit more!
