Best Buys: Mothercare Sale Haul

It’s my second Best Buys post! This time I’m showing my online sale bargains from shopping at
When I fell pregnant I signed up to various sites such as Boots, Emma’s Diary, and Mothercare. One of the perks of being a member of Mothercare, is that you get a sneak peak at the sale a day early. Unlike some sales where they get out old stock from the 1980s that both smells and looks a bit dodgey, Mothercare reduce some really nice stuff. I tend to go a bit mad and buy about £50 worth of things for Lily at a time. But I find I rarely need to top up until the next seasons sale.

This time when I got the email I had a look and although I didn’t buy anywhere near as much as usual, I am still very happy with my purchases!

What I bought: 3 tops, 4 trousers, 6 pairs of socks.

Total price: £23.50 Average price of  £1.80 per item.

What I love about Mothercare is you get excellent quality at a reasonable price. I don’t tend to buy full price items from them because they do so many sales which is great! If you choose click and collect you can pick it up from your local Mothercare store for free. I especially love the little princess socks here which for three pairs were only £3. Lily is really in to fairies and princesses nowadays and she loves them! There’s also some good quality trousers in there which feel nice and thick for winter. I just put my heating on today so winter is coming fast! These items along with the Primark haul a couple of weeks ago should mean that we don’t need to buy many more items this winter for Lily. Which is handy with Christmas approaching. It’s all about saving a few pennies!
